Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist College Ministry on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Thats our text book definition. To the students here Wesley is so much more. Our motto is "Finding Faith with Friends" which is exactly what the students here do! Here a short list of things we do that can help further define who we are.

Service!

Local Projects: We help area congregations repair and maintain their churches.

Spring Break: Past Spring Break Mission have included work in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola, Florida; Port Arthur, Texas; and work at Mexican orphanages in Nuevo Laredo, Piedras Negras, and Jimenez Mexico.

Summer Missions: Past summer missions have included Ground Zero in New York City, and most frequently Belize in Central America. Summer missions usually occur the week following graduation in May and range from 7-10 days.

Worship!

Wednesday Worship: Join us as we praise God through prayer, music, Scripture, and the Lord's Supper. Tom Teekell, our pastor, preaches and presides over the Lord's Supper. The rest of the service is led and planned by the students. Hearts Afire, a group of dedicated students, leads our music. Acts of Grace speaks God's message through drama. All of us join together in prayer for one another. Our general order of worship and its description can be found here.

Bible Studies: At Wesley there is something to do every night of the week, including Bible studies! This fall look for both men's and women's groups, discipleship groups, a lunch Bible study and evening Bible studies on the book of Revelation, 1st and 2nd Timothy and Titus..

Fellowship!

Monday Lunch: Join us every Monday at noon for a FREE LUNCH! We have a guest speaker each week from local churches or the campus to feed our spirits at the same time.

Fellowship Activities: Christian fellowship is a vital part of a healthy spiritual life in college, and we try to offer this in abundance. Some of the fellowship activities include: Halloween Party, Super Bowl Party, Spring Banquet, Welcome Week, Christmas Party, Midnight Football and many others.
