E-mail Forwarding Service

Wesley is now offering as a service to current and former students free email addresses. Read the details below to decide if you would like to have one.

1. Format: It's your first name followed by your last name, then @sfawesley.org. Everyone at Wesley and any alumni who participate will use the same format. As long as you can spell someone's name, you now know their email address!

2. This is a forwarding email service, so the way you check your email doesn't change. You check and send your email like you always have. Nothing on your end needs to change for you to participate fully.

3. If your "real" email address changes, just email ministry@sfawesley.org to let us know, and all your sfawesley.org emails will be forwarded to your new "real" email box. If you want us to forward your sfawesley.org emails to two addresses while you are in transition, we can do that, too.

4. You can continue to use the Wesley email address for as long as you like, even if you move. As long as you let us know your "real" email, it doesn't matter who your service provider is or where you move. Consider this a "permanent" email address.

5. If you want people to automatically REPLY using your sfawesley.org email address, then simply put your sfawesley address in your "reply address" field under TOOLS-->ACCOUNTS-->PROPERTIES. This, is optional, of course, and won't affect the service at all.

6. Why do this as a former student?

a. It's a great way to always know another former student's email someone's email address--hopefully's we'll all stay in contact more that way.
b. If you use the sfawesley address as your primary one (the one you tell everyone to use), then all you have to do is email Wesley if you "real" email changes. We make the change here, and you don't have to send out one of those annoying emails that says you've changed email addresses...again.
c. It helps Wesley stay in touch with you, too.

7 . How much does this cost Wesley? Nothing. Well, $60 a year, but that was really to get a webhosting site. The email forwarding service came with the deal. Cool, huh?

8 . All the current students are getting sfawesley email addresses and they will get to keep them after they graduate.
