How to Donate

Email connect@sfawesley.org or call 936-564-7257 with a description of your item. It is also helpful if you place a value on it so we don’t have to guess. You can donate an item, a service, or a weekend at a beach house or cabin. The item can be new, vintage, antique, or handmade. We ask that any used items (that aren’t vintage or antique) be in very good condition. We can’t auction any item unless we have it in our possession (or in the case of a service, a letter stating the privileges/limitations of the service). Please let us know about an item before you ship it to us so we can expect it. Our shipping address is Wesley Foundation, 129 E. College St., Nacogdoches, TX 75965.

If you are a business, you can follow the same procedure above, but we also have students procuring items locally. If you have questions, please call. Businesses can download this form to see options for sponsorship at well.

How do I reserve a spot?

The cost is $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight.

We've been at seating capacity for the last two years, so be sure to reserve your spots early (reservations will be open in March).

What else should I know?

  1. Travel: If you are driving a long way and want to stay overnight, make arrangements as soon as you can to stay at a hotel or a friend’s house.
     

  2. Childcare: Don’t forget about the free childcare for children under 12 provided by FUMC staff! You should bring a meal for your children in childcare. Snacks, but no meal, will be provided.
     

  3. Location: We will be in the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches located behind the sanctuary at 201 E. Hospital St.
     

  4. Time: We will begin eating at 5 pm, so please plan to arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 to check in.
     

  5. Dress: Sunday morning attire. Depending on your church, that can range anywhere between suit and tie to your best jeans!
     

  6. Food: We will be having Ribeye steak, loaded mashed potatoes, green beans, and peach cobbler all from Cici’s Smokehouse in Nacogdoches.
     

  7. Entertainment: We welcome the Old Time Brass Band to fill our night with jazz music!
     

  8. Oh, and you may have heard about or remember the Money Pit. Just remember to bring lots of $1 bills (or $10 bills, if you like, but you were warned!)

Payment Policy: Payments for winning bids are expected after the auction closes. We will have a place to check out, and you will be able to pay with a check, cash, or card.

Shipping/Pickup Policy: Please plan to take your items with you that evening. In the unlikely event that an item is too large for your vehicle, arrangements can be made for shipping or a later pickup time. If you must pick up your item later, please make arrangements to pick them up by May 10, or we will need to ship the item to you.  The bidder is responsible for all shipping charges.  We will ship only within the continental United States, and shipping costs are in addition to the amount of the winning bid.
