If you gave a donation, you will receive a statement of all your donations in January.  That statement is necessary if you intend to claim the donation as a tax deduction on this calendar year's return.

If you gave money for a parking permit or in exchange for another item or service, your donation is not tax deductible. In this case, you will not receive a statement in January, or the the statement you receive will list the amount as ineligible for a tax deduction.
