Meet the Team

Executive Director

Tom Teekell

Tom has been at the SFA Wesley Foundation since 1998 when he was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church. He now works mostly with former students, churches, and funding the ministry. See Tom's Doctrinal Foundations.

Campus Ministry Director

Ben West

Ben graduated from SFA in 2008, went to seminary, and served as the campus minister at two other Wesley Foundation before joining SFA Wesley in 2019. He runs the day-to-day ministry with the college students.

Administrator

Rachel Stone

Rachel joined our team in November. She is a member of Nac Naz (a local Nazarene Church), has an Associate of Science in History, an Associate of Arts in Religion, a B.S. in History, and a Master's of Arts in Religion with a focus in Chaplaincy.

Music Intern

"CT" Christian Taylor

CT is a junior Marketing major from Duncanville, TX. He plays keys and drums, and is learning others. He has been with Hearts Afire, our praise band, for two+ years.

Student Leaders

Students who apply to be on our Student Council are elected by their peers to serve. We also have other leadership roles that are chosen by the campus ministers.
